The Department of Technology in Crop Production (440d) conduct research in concepts for automation, robotics and precision farming to support sustainable and efficient production systems.
This is related to machines, processes and an overlaying systems layer which is influenced by ecologic, economic and societal factors.
The research is fundamental-oriented and interdisciplinary by including complementary disciplines.
Furthermore we are active in research & teaching concerning technology for Landscape Maintainance, Municipalities, Forestry and Specialty Crops.
